Erin Videgar has been passionately involved with Crossroads Student Ministries as both a participant and leader since 2010. During high school, she was involved in youth group, girls’ small group, student leadership, Baptism, Confirmation, and Imagine guide training. These opportunities were incredibly formational, in addition to mission trips to Atlanta, Chicago, Miami, Jamaica, and Uganda.
After graduating from Stone Bridge High School in 2013, she attended Messiah College for a year studying International Relations and Cross Cultural Ministries. Erin’s journey searching for her call and deeper meaning in school and work took her to Seattle for a few years, where she served as an AmeriCorps member working with Teen Programs for the City of Redmond Parks and Recreation. After her AmeriCorps term, she continued as a program coordinator, overseeing middle school after-school programs, a teen center, and a youth leadership and community service group.
While working, Erin continued her education at the University of Washington School of Public Health. Throughout the years, she’s returned to the area for her personal highlight of every summer, leading The Pittsburgh Project student mission trip for the past six years and building long lasting, cherished relationships with the youth.
Erin, her fiancé Ryan, and their puppy Fern road tripped across the country and moved back to Ashburn in September to support her mom, Kristine, in her battle with cancer. She is overjoyed to be back at Crossroads and get to know the students and their families through service, conversation, games, scripture, and lots of fun!
