Confirmation Sunday - February 9, 2020

Confirmation is a passage that guides students to personally own their faith and live in the way of Jesus in their everyday lives. It provides resources to deepen their love for God, others, and self through questions, service, and the ongoing support found in the family and in a Christian community.

The Confirmation Retreat and group gatherings are designed for high schoolers and their parents to step outside of their ordinary, fast-paced days, and into an intentional time of community, nature, slowing down, asking questions, and remembering their innate gifts, qualities, passions, and call. During our time together, families will be equipped to bring these intentions into their everyday lives.

This passage invites spaciousness and complete welcome in the midst of academic and social pressure. This passage invites the young adult to approach high school as a spiritual exploration in mind, body, and soul. This passage invites parental expectations of the student risking and failing to cultivate growth in wisdom and independence.
