John 9:4-5 Jesus said, “While it’s daytime, we must do the works of Him who sent me. Night is coming when no one can work. While I am in the world, I am the light of the world.”
Morning Prayer: Good morning, God; I rise ready to greet the day and begin Your work. Jesus showed us what it would look like for You to walk among us. You would move slowly, engaging those You passed with loving care and attentive presence. You would look for areas of pain, poverty, injustice, and seek to bring redemption to them. Jesus didn’t wield a sword or a magic wand. Instead, he embodied a humble carpenter, living in a small town, knowing and loving the people around him. May I live by that example today. May it be so.
Morning Focus: Thinking about the day ahead, where does your work intersect with God’s work?
