Intergenerational Integrator (Job Description Summary):

Crossroads United Methodist Church, located in Ashburn, VA, is excited to announce a new opening for a key leadership role as Intergenerational Integrator. As a key leader (and reporting to the Senior Pastor), the candidate will be enthusiastic and passionate about planning, leading, and overseeing all Crossroads’ ministries and missions inside and outside of the church. The role acts in coordination and collaboration with the Senior Pastor and Operations Integrator to establish, integrate, and maintain missional alignment as the body of Christ in vision, mission, theological framework, and team-based ministry. Primary responsibilities include visioning with, and overseeing, staff coordinators of Adult, Children, Student, Serve, and Nurture/Care ministries, with an overall focus on Family, Service, and Unlimited Welcome as guiding principles. The Intergenerational Integrator will have direct responsibility for the development and formation of staff and teams that support all aforementioned ministries and Rites of Passage (Baptism, Confirmation, etc.) events. The candidate must have the ability to lead, coordinate, and collaborate with ministry staff and volunteers, as well as experience working with (and managing) people with differing perspectives. Great organization skills, the ability to manage multiple initiatives, and excellent communication skills are essential. Student Ministry Coordinator (Job Description Summary): 

Crossroads United Methodist Church, located in Ashburn, VA, is looking for a local-area person to serve as Student Ministry Coordinator, with a passion for the vision and mission of the Crossroads community. The right candidate will be someone who is committed to walking with adolescents and teenagers on their individual faith journeys as they navigate life, within a loving, safe, and supportive community. This part-time role is responsible for organizing and facilitating student gatherings and events, which includes Sunday mornings and other face-to-face (or virtual) small groups and/or outings. The Coordinator will also be responsible for maintaining a social media presence and outreach, contributing to the Church Newsletter, preparing curriculum, and building a voluntary Student Ministry team. Qualifications include the ability to build strong relationships with students and parents/guardians, a love and passion to support students at this critical stage of life, a desire to create new and meaningful experiences for adolescents and teens, and previous experience working with this age group.
