Lent 2021: Broken Vessels - A Lenten Season of Recovery
Lent has historically been observed as a time of focused reflection and intentional listening for the voice of God.
The season of Lent began with an online Ash Wednesday experience on February 17th and leads up to special Holy Week activities leading up to our Easter Celebration.
We are offering special Gifts of Lent Bags that provide everything you need to create your own small meditation gardens during this season. There are also bags designed for children. They are available for pickup at any time outside Crossroads entrance 1. If you would like one but are unable to pick one up, if you are local we will arrange for one to be delivered. If you are joining us from outside the Loudoun County area we will be happy to mail one to you. For delivery or for mailing please email Susan Yantis and we will arrange it.
We hope you will tune in to the Sunday worship services during Lent which are designed to help you recover and renew after the challenging year we've experienced. We will witness Jesus' solidarity with those who suffer and seek healing practices for mind, body and spirit, both personal and communal, creating beauty from that which feels broken. Please take a moment to watch this short preview.
