7:45 PM - 9:30 PM
Pub Theology - A Small Group for Men
Next Meeting - Monday May 10 Via Zoom
Alternating Mondays, 7:45 – 9:15pm
Pub Theology is group of men who are open, honest and supporting of one another. Meeting weekly by Zoom now, but originally meeting in pubs, this is an open and welcoming discussion group. They pick different readings or subjects prior to the meeting and then come together over beer/wine/water/snacks/etc. to discuss in a casual conversation about the subject.
Always open to new members.
We will be reading The Screwtape Letters by C.S. Lewis in parallel with a book from the Bible. It may be purchased from this link
We are currently studying Luke. For the 4/26 meeting as people are ordering our new study we will study Luke for that meeting.
The Screwtape Letters are part fiction, part self-help. They are advice in reverse. Screwtape instructs Wormwood what to do to tempt the Patient, the reader learns about the temptations that might keep him from being virtuous or “saved.”
