Questions
What actually happens in that hour?
Kids arrive, eat, and get into teams. Most of the hour is the themed competition. Somewhere in the middle we stop for about ten minutes of teaching built around a demonstration, then finish with a closing and a prayer.
Do I have to sign up every month?
No. Sign up once for the year. We will email you the week before each one.
My child does not know anybody.
That is the normal starting point, and it is the problem this exists to solve. Every kid is put in a small group with the same leader all year, and first time guests get paired with someone on purpose.
Allergies and medical needs?
Tell us on the sign up form and it stays on file for the year. We plan snacks around that list.
Can they bring a friend?
Please do. A friend does not need to fill anything out ahead of time.
What happens after 5th grade?
In June we run Summer Crossover, the handoff for rising 6th graders, and from there they join Middle and High School Students.
