Welcome to Small Groups at Crossroads!

We encourage you to think about a small group that might fit where you are right now. Whether you decide to join an existing group or start a new one we want to encourage you to see the value and power of meeting with others to speak out loud your spirituality, to talk about your faith, to listen to others to better understand where they are, and where they are in their faith.

Not Your Parents (or Kids) Sunday School
Sundays, 11:15am at Crossroads

This is a new group that will meet after worship. During our first meeting we will decide on a study that is of interest to the group. This is a group for anyone who wants to connect with others on their life journey, engage and learn as we talk about God’s love and its impact on our everyday lives.

The Big Picture Online Group
Mondays, 7-8pm

This five week study will use the book, The Big Picture: Seeing God’s Dream for Your Life by Jevon Caldwell-Gross and Nicole Caldwell-Gross. The study focuses on the story of Joseph in Genesis to look at how God weaves seemingly random, disconnected events into a larger story for our lives.

Pub Theology is a group of men who are open, honest and supportive of one another. They pick different books/topics and then come together over beer/wine/water/snacks/etc. to discuss in a casual conversation. The group will be reading The Genius of Jesus and complementing this with the book of Exodus.

Parenting Teens Book Club
Connect with other parents of teenagers as this group dives into the book, The Emotional Lives of Teenagers by Lisa Damour, PHD. We will have a group chat to encourage one another as we make progress reading this book over a five-week period. At the end of the five weeks, we will gather to discuss the book, encourage and learn from one another and make some new friends.

Health & Wellness Ministry: In the Spirit of Caleb

We believe there were nutritional and physical components to the longevity and quality of Caleb’s life as indicated in the Bible. In the busyness of life today, people often make health secondary, when how we eat and care for ourselves should be a primary focus. Through this ministry our goal is to encourage and support the physical health of people in our church and the community.

Young Adults

This is a new group run by young adults aiming to connect with, learn with, and grow in their faith with other young adults. They will go on excursions like escape rooms, laser tag, and paint your own pottery, and will work on service projects while providing time to talk about our lives and offer each other support.
