Annual 10K/5K/2K Races
Every Thanksgiving, we hold the Ashburn Farm Thanksgiving Day 10K/5K/2K race. This tradition has been a staple of Loudoun County since 1993!
All proceeds from the run support the mission outreach of Crossroads UMC. This includes providing food and emergency financial assistance, assistance to the unhoused, offering English as a 2nd Language classes, mission trips to help build homes in Guatemala, and continuing to support students in Uganda.
In 2025, Crossroads added another race! Last June, we hosted the Flip Flop 5K/2K which supported initiatives that addressed a range of needs such as food insecurity among school age children, immigration support for neighbors who live and work in our community, and adolescent mental health services.
On April 25, 2026, Crossroads will host the EmpowerHer 5K/2K which will support initiatives of Crossroads UMC that help women both locally and across the globe. Such programs include building homes for single mothers in Guatemala, leading small groups for women at the Loudoun County Adult Detention Center, educating young women in Uganda, working with women at the local homeless shelter, and more.
