What this is
Two hours. One field. Everybody back.
Kick Off is how we start the year at Crossroads Student Ministry. It is two hours outside with a food truck, bubble soccer, a super slide, inflatables, and a field full of students. Every 6th through 12th grader is invited, whether you have been here every week or you have never walked in the door. Come hungry, come ready to play, and bring a friend.
Bubble Soccer
Strap into a giant inflatable bubble and play the most ridiculous soccer game of your life. Bouncing off your friends is the whole point.
Super Slide
The super slide is going up, and yes, there will be water. Expect to get soaked and expect to go again.
Inflatables
Inflatables are part of the plan for the field. Show up and jump in.

Bring Somebody

If you know someone who has never been to Crossroads, this is the easiest night of the year to bring them, because it is just food, games, and a field full of people having fun. Bring a friend. Bring the whole group text.

Two quick things and you are done. Both take about a minute, and the waiver is once a year, so if you have already done it this year you can skip step two.

We need you on the field
A night this big only works with adults spread across it. We need steady people at the super slide and the inflatables keeping lines moving and play safe, a couple of folks at check-in greeting students and their friends as they walk up, and someone keeping the drinks cold. Give us two hours outside on August 30 and you will meet half the ministry in one night.

Pick the job you want and we will email you your role, call time, and where to report right away. Heads up: everybody pitches in on teardown at the end of the night.
Weather: Kick Off happens rain or shine. If the weather turns unsafe, we will move indoors and post an update here and by text.
Waivers: Every student needs this year’s annual waiver on file before they play. It covers the whole ministry year, so it is once and done.
Refunds: The church does not issue refunds within two weeks of an event.
