Students

Sunday Mornings

Breakfast Club

Breakfast Club meets every Sunday at 11:00 AM. It is a place for students to slow down, enjoy breakfast, build friendships, and grow in faith together.

Students can expect a welcoming space, real conversations, and time set apart to explore what it means to know God and live out faith in everyday life.

Middle School

6th–8th Grade

Middle School meets every Sunday from 5:00–6:30 PM. It is a place for students to show up as they are, make friends, have fun, and grow in faith in a welcoming environment.

These years can feel big, exciting, and sometimes overwhelming. We want students to know they do not have to walk through them alone.

High School

9th–12th Grade

High School meets every Sunday from 6:30–8:00 PM. It is a place for students to connect, laugh, be known, and grow deeper in faith together.

Whether students come with friends or walk in on their own, we want them to find a place where they belong and where faith feels real in everyday life.

Milestones: Heading into Middle School & High School

Confirmation

Confirmation is a passage that guides high school students to personally own their faith and live in the way of Jesus in their everyday lives. It’s a chance to say, “This is my faith.” It provides resources to deepen their love for God, others, and self through questions, service, and the ongoing support found in the family and in a Christian community. This passage is a part of the student’s sacred journey and invites the student to participate fully, question intentionally, and mindfully reflect on the decision to be confirmed or not, with the full support and love of their family and Crossroads family.

How long is Confirmation?
January – March

When do we meet?
Confirmation classes meet once a week, with students choosing either a Wednesday or Sunday session.

Who is it for?
Student in Grade 9 and above.

What happens at the end?
Students publicly confirm their faith in front of the church on “Confirmation Sunday”.

Dates to Note:

  • Confirmation Retreat: A two-day retreat that launches the program, introduces mentors, and gives students the opportunity to get to know one another while learning what to expect throughout the confirmation process.
  • Confirmation Dinner: A rehearsal dinner held the evening before Confirmation Sunday to prepare for the service and to celebrate this important milestone with parents, students, and mentors.
  • Confirmation Sunday: The culmination of the confirmation journey, when students affirm their faith before the congregation alongside their mentors and families. Students and families may choose to participate in either the 9:00 or 11:00 a.m. service.

Crossover

Moving from Elementary School to Middle School is an important transition time for students, families, and their communities. We want top welcome students who move from Elementary to Middle School, and celebrate this great milestone. This is a time for families to recognize their child’s growing independence and offer a blessing of support and encouragement. We celebrate how each child has been formed and continues to be shaped by their own innate gifts and unique story.

Volunteer

Make a Difference
