The table is finally set. This week is the culmination of the series, focusing on the ultimate goal of hospitality: making sure every person feels completely seen, known, and valued. Jesus’ critics were furious because eating with someone in the ancient Near East meant granting them total acceptance and family status. When we open our tables on Thanksgiving, we aren’t just feeding bodies; we are providing a earthly echo of the ultimate, heavenly wedding feast where everyone belongs.
