You’re invited to complete a 2027 Estimate of Giving, a commitment to next year’s general giving fund. This fund directly supports the programs, events, and vision of Crossroads throughout the year. We are asking everyone to take time to reflect and pray about their giving plans for next year. By providing your estimates now Crossroads’ leadership can effectively plan for next year’s budget.
Filling out the electronic version of the form now is encouraged, but a hard copy of the estimate of giving card will be available during worship on Sunday, October 25th. We hope to get as close to 100% participation as possible. Thank you for considering this request.
Through the unconditional love of Jesus, the impact of our shared generosity will transform the world one person, one family, and one community at a time!
Discovering the lavish heart of God, the reckless call of Jesus, and the secret to a joy-filled life.
10/4 – The Prodigal God
Ephesians 1:7–8 & Luke 15:20–24
We usually associate the word “prodigal” with a wayward son, but the word actually means recklessly extravagant. God is the original “Prodigal”—lavishing His grace, love, and resources on us with an open hand, completely unconcerned with keeping score.
10/11 – The Prodigal Call of Jesus
Luke 6:30, 35–38
Jesus didn’t call His followers to a life of careful, calculated risk-management. He called them to a radical, almost scandalous level of generosity that makes the world tilt its head in confusion.
10/18 – The Prodigal Life
2 Corinthians 9:6–11 & Mark 14:3–9
What does it actually look like to live out this reckless generosity daily? It means shifting from a “holding” mindset to a “pouring” mindset, using our time, talents, and treasures to bless others without fear.
10/25 – Being Content and Joyful
Philippians 4:11–13, 19 & 1 Timothy 6:17–19
The ultimate byproduct of a prodigal life isn’t emptiness; it is a profound, unshakeable joy. True contentment is found when we stop trying to anchor our happiness to what we can accumulate, and instead anchor it to what we can release.
