Prison Ministry

Inmate Support

In June of 2025, Crossroads began leading weekly classes for women housed at the Loudoun County Adult Detention Center. We expanded the program to men a year later.

Post-Incarceration Support

In August of 2026, Crossroads will introduce a new program for inmates in need who are exiting the Detention Center. This comes in the form of a re-entry backpack designed to guide, comfort and support those who are rebuilding their lives with nowhere to go and no one to lean on. Each backpack will contain items to wash up, make a call, have a meal and locate area resources.

If you would like to participate in this program, please feel free to visit our Amazon Wishlist or purchase one of the items below, with items brought or delivered to Crossroads by September 13, 2026. We thank you for your support of our incarcerated neighbors.

  • $15 fast food gift card (McDonald’s, Wendy’s, Chick-fil-A, etc.)
  • New towel (regular, not oversized)
  • Deodorant (men’s, full-sized)
  • Extra large drawstring backpack (found on Amazon)
  • 8 quarters placed in a small resealable bag OR loose quarters
  • Individually wrapped bar of soap
