At Crossroads, worship is a collaborative effort involving many instruments, voices, and diverse levels of experience. We always welcome new vocalists and musicians, along with the passion and authenticity they bring. Working alongside the Leadership, First Impression, and AV Teams, the Music Team provides the foundation for congregational, offertory, and communion music. We are one team of musicians and vocalists, and we would love for you to join the rotation!
Band
From trombone to electric guitar, our band combines a diverse variety of instruments to create a musical foundation that supports a space of authentic worship. Collaboration and cohesion are at the heart of what we do — each instrument listening and working together in fellowship to serve the congregation. If you’re interested in sharing your musical gifts, we’d love to hear from you! We use sheet music as well as chord or cut sheets to navigate songs.
Vocalists
We have many talented voices in the rotation and would love to add yours. To accommodate all voice types, we aim for a healthy mix of ranges each Sunday. And we primarily use sheet music to navigate music alongside other vocalists. Having a strong voice and a good sense of rhythm to carry a melodic line will be a great asset here. But the most important and invaluable asset in both of these roles will be a heart of worship.
